Asia Rugby Women’s Sevens Trophy will be streamed live #ARWST

Asia Rugby Women’s Sevens Trophy will be streamed live on Asia Rugby’s Facebook page.

After the conclusion of a very exciting Asia Women’s Sevens series in Sri Lanka, the action moves to Brunei where 10 teams will compete in the “Asia Rugby Women’s Sevens Trophy” which will take place from the 20th of October till the 21st.

With a place on the main series up for grabs, all 10 teams will be looking to be a part of the Asia Rugby Women’s Sevens series in 2019 and play a part in Olympic qualification.

The event is to be held at the Panaga club, Seria, which is a very picturesque setting, located midway between Kuala Belait and Seria in the south of Negara Brunei Darussalam.

This year the teams taking part include Brunei, Guam, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines and Uzbekistan. The Brunei women team will make history as this will be the first time the Brunei national women’s team will be taking part in a rugby series.

The tournament starts on the 20th of October at 09:30 local time (GMT +8) as hosts Brunei take on last year’s hosts Laos. All matches will be available online with fans able to tune in on Facebook to watch the ten women’s teams compete for the trophy over the weekend.
