Having won the tournament in 2017 and 2018 Lebanon will be aiming to win a third successive Division III West title and now face hosts Qatar on 5 April in a winner-takes-all match.

Steve Pere was the star of the show scoring a hat-trick in the win, with Robbie Farajalla scoring two tries in the first half, including Lebanon’s first of the match inside three minutes.

Karim Jammal also impressed in the match converting eight of Lebanon’s 11 tries.

For Jordan, after suffering a 77-0 defeat to Qatar on 30 March, their hopes of winning the tournament were ended with another defeat but there were positives to take from the match.

Firas Khalifeh and Ibrahim Izmigna scored a penalty apiece in the defeat, giving their fans something to cheer.
