A Boost for Rugby Development in Asia.

4 September, 2019 in #MyRugbyMoment, Get Into Rugby by Asia Rugby

Asia Rugby’s commitment to invest in growing the game and supporting it’s member unions got a boost when Asia Rugby contracted the services of two highly experienced Regional Development Officers (RDOs) to support unions in West and Central Asia with effect from 1st September 2019.

Get Into Rugby >>>>> Asia

Ghaith Jalajel, RDO for West Asia, has been involved in rugby development in West Asia for the past 15 years. He has vast experience in managing competitions, training and education, and in supporting unions with compliance and planning.

Anatoliy Shirov, former Executive Director of Uzbekistan Rugby Federation, has been working closely with unions in the Central Asia region for the past 6 years.

Anatoliy has first-hand experience in supporting unions with planning and compliance and has been actively involved in organising tournaments and events in the region.

The officers will work under the guidance of Ben van Rooyen, Asia Rugby’s Rugby Development Consultant.
We would like to wish both of them all the very best and success in their new positions.

Contact details for both are as follows:
