Project Integrity by Bangladesh Rugby

This article about the “Project Integrity by Bangladesh Rugby” has been kindly provided by Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union.

Bangladesh Rugby has activated the rugby community to help provide immediate relief to the day labourers and low-income families affected by the lockdown due to the COVID-19 Virus Outbreak.

The program Officially started at the Bangabandhu National Stadium and is set to Roll out to at least 40 locations throughout Bangladesh.

A Simple package has been created to take care of the needs of a small family for 3 days Each family will get 1 KG Rice, 500g lentils, 1 KG Potato, 500g Onion and a Bar of Soap.

Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union General Secretary Mousum Ali Said, “As a social being we should work for society. We have a limited resource and a huge population. The Lockdown has made a lot the Day Labourers without a way to feed their families.

he further Added “Rugby has taught us to have values. We have named this program the Integrity project the idea to maintain strong character, honesty and fair play through the toughest of situations.”

” we hope the setup we have created of our Volunteer development officers to spread rugby can be of use to spread food to the very needy” Concluded Mousum Ali

Bangladesh Rugby Get Into Rugby

 

BRFU CEO Mahfizul Islam said, ” Project Integrity, can be a practical learning material for Rugby Coaches, Players and DOs.  We mixed up Social need, Rugby Values, Our dedicated Development Team.

We hope to cover at least 40 Locations and 2000 Family by 9th April”
