Breaking News: from Korea Rugby Union
Korea Rugby Union President Sang-woong Lee was awarded ‘Achievement Award’ from Republic of Korea President, Jae-in Moon at the 58th Annual Korean Sports Awards on the 15th of October, the most prestigious awards in the Korean sports field.
The Korean Sports Awards, which mark its 58th anniversary this year, are considered the best awards for sports in Korea and have the longest history as well.

The Awards select nine people or organizations who have most committed to the development of sports in Korea. The Awards consist of nine categories: The President Awards are categorized by Competition, Research, Guidance, Achievement, Promotion, Overcoming and Special Sports Awards.
The Minister’s Awards consist of Best Referee Award and Greatest Parents Award as Special Award.
President Sang-woong Lee was awarded the President Award in Achievement this year in recognition of his great contributions to the development of Korea rugby through his dedication to rugby union administration, financial support, promotion and international affairs, etc.
It has not been possible without the support and efforts of all Korean rugby families who have gathered their will and strength with President Sang-woong Lee.
