We round-up ticketing information for all three levels of WXV 2024 as the annual global women’s 15s competition returns for its second edition.
Eighteen of the best international women’s teams will compete across three levels this September and October as WXV returns for its second edition – and you can be there.
WXV 1 will be played at BC Place and Langley Event Centre in Canada between 29 September – 12 October as reigning champions England defend their title.
The Red Roses booked their return to the top level by claiming a sixth successive Guinness Women’s Six Nations title in April and they will be joined in Vancouver by regional rivals France, World Rugby Pacific Four Series champions Canada and New Zealand.
Ireland, who won WXV 3 last year, and USA will make their top-level debut in British Columbia next month.
Tickets for WXV 1 2024 went on sale at the end of July and are available via rugby.ca. Tickets are sold as single day passes, meaning fans will get access to all matches played on a certain day.
This means that ticket holders will be able to attend multiple tests on 29 September, 5 October and 12 October.
Cape Town to host WXV 2
WXV 2 will return to South Africa’s Western Cape for the second successive year as Athlone Sports Stadium and DHL Stadium play host to the second level.
Scotland claimed the inaugural title in 2023 and they will be back in South Africa this September and October, alongside fellow Six Nations sides Italy, who were runners-up last year, and Wales.
Hosts South Africa will hope to improve on their third-place finish in 2023, while Japan will once again take part and Australia are set to make their WXV 2 debut having finished fourth in the Pacific Four Series earlier this year.
Tickets for WXV 2 went on sale on Thursday, 8 August, priced from R35 for adults, with two adult tickets available for R50 and a package of four adult tickets priced at R100.
Fans aged under 18 will pay just R10 when accompanied by a paying adult.
Tickets are sold per round, meaning they are valid for three matches over two days, and are only available from Ticketmaster.
WXV 3 returns to Dubai
Dubai will host the third level of WXV at The Sevens Stadium for the second successive year, with entry free for all nine matches.
Three teams – Hong Kong China, Madagascar and the Netherlands – will make their WXV debut when the tournament gets underway at the end of next month.
They will line up alongside Spain, Fiji and Samoa for a tournament that has been given extra significance due to Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 qualification.
Fijiana are already sure of their place at England 2025 having won the Oceania Rugby Women’s Championship 2024 but with the top six non-qualified nations at the end of WXV 2024 securing the remaining tickets, the race is on for their rivals in the third level.
