Hong Kong China 45-9 Korea
Asia Rugby Emirates Men’s Championship 2026 – AREMC Game 2
Hong Kong Football Club, Hong Kong SAR
Hong Kong China secured their seventh consecutive Asia Rugby Emirates Championship title with an impressive 45-9 victory over Korea in Game 2 of the Asia Rugby Emirates Men’s Championship 2026.
The result follows Hong Kong China’s dramatic opening-round victory over Sri Lanka in Colombo, where a late try secured a narrow 15-14 win. With victories in both of their championship matches, Hong Kong China have successfully retained the regional crown.
Playing at home at Hong Kong Football Club, Hong Kong China delivered a composed and clinical performance against a determined Korean side to claim the championship with one match still remaining in the competition.
A standout performance from Jack Bartlett earned him the Emirates Player of the Match Award, recognising his influential contribution to Hong Kong China’s title-winning victory.
The award was presented by Asia Rugby Executive Committee Member Batbayar Purevjargal following the match.
Asia Rugby President Qais Al Dhalai congratulated Hong Kong China, on their achievement.
“Congratulations to Hong Kong China on securing the Asia Rugby Emirates Men’s Championship 2026 title. Their campaign included two very different challenges, beginning with a hard-fought one-point victory over Sri Lanka in Colombo before today’s strong performance against Korea.
