Korea v Malaysia

Korea v Malaysia Rugby World Cup qualifier to be streamed live

18 May, 2018 in Korea, Malaysia, News by Asia Rugby

The fourth match of the ARC 2018 Championship will be streamed live on Asia Rugby’s Facebook page.

Malaysia are the second side to travel to Incheon to face Korea after Hong Kong made it two wins from two on Saturday.

Both sides will be looking to gain all-important wins as the race for the title heats up with Korea aiming to bounce back from their defeat to Hong Kong ahead of their final match on 2 June.

Malaysia are the travelling side this weekend and are fully prepared having had a rest week after their two home matches which saw them come up short against the other two sides in the competition, all but ending their hopes of qualifying for Rugby World Cup 2019.

This weekend presents another opportunity for last year’s ARC Division I champions to play on a global scale.

With a play-off against the Cook Islands for the winner, the hard work continues for both sides with the home side the favourites based on their World Rugby rankings.

The winner of the play-off will then head to the Rugby World Cup repechage for a spot at Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan.

Despite being ranked below Korea, Malaysia will look to gain their first win over their opponents.

You can watch the game live on Asia Rugby’s Facebook channel, with the match being streamed around the world.

The match will kick-off at 16:30 local time. You can stream the match here:  http://bit.ly/ARC-Live

As well as the live stream, preview interviews with both teams and footage from the captain’s runs will be made available ahead of the match, with highlights posted shortly after.
