All eyes on Asia Rugby’s revamped Sevens Trophy. Asia Rugby announced plans to adjust the 2021 competitions calendar to hold sub-regional sevens competitions.

The sub-regional competition renamed The Asia Rugby Sevens Trophy and will be featuring all 34 member unions to return to play and to participate in their respective sub-regions for both men and women delivering on Asia Rugby’s pledge of Equality.

Training and Education courses in all strands targeting the specific needs of each region and ensuring safe ‘Return to Play’ have been scheduled virtually leading up to and during the tournament dates, and each tournament will act as the final staging ground for the face-to-face components of the higher-level and refresher courses.
