13 October, 2017 in News, Medical #playerwelfare by Asia Rugby

China Hosts Medical Superweek , China Rugby FA achieved another target, by hosting a World Rugby ICIR L2 course for the first time.

This adds another level of medical skill sets to the knowledge already gained through their current WR FAIRprogramme. As part of the Medical Superweek, CRFA Medical ducators also delivered FAIR courses.

 National Training Centers

Rugby is expanding rapidly throughout China and the candidates attended the course in Weihai, Shandong province.
Weihai is where the national training center is based, and the other regional center for CRFA is Guangzhou.

This course, along with those held in India and Uzbekistan earlier in the season, significantly boosts the medical support for local and provincial teams in the Asian region, as well as moving Asia Rugby close to achieving its 2017 target of having L2 medics supporting National teams attending international 7’s & 15’s tournaments.

Thanks to CRFA for hosting the courses, and congratulations to all the participants for successfully completing the course.
